Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour

Not to make a bad pun, but this was easily one of the most magical experiences of my life. It baffles me that J.K. Rowling once sat down to write a book, and one idea transformed into this beautiful world that has turned into reality for so many. She created a whole universe in her head; so many people went to such great lengths to replicate her imagination and make her ideas real and tangible. 

I can't even begin to describe my excitement at walking through set, looking at pieces from Hermione's Yule Ball to spinning cauldrons in a potions classroom and everything in between. Pieces of the set I'd only ever seen on screen were in front of me, things that had seem to have sprung straight out of my imagination when I had first sat down to read these books as a child. 

Here are some of the best highlights, and if you're a Harry Potter fan, I hope you have the chance to come see this. I won't even begin to try to explain all the emotions I felt and thoughts that ran through my head as I stepped further and further into the world of my childhood, a magical world that will forever be my favorite reality.
